VeriSign Site Redesign
In April of 2000 VeriSign acquired Signio, which then became VeriSign's payment processing division. At this time Signio's website and web applications were redesigned to reflect the new company's corporate identity.

In each case, the page layout, design treatment, and navigation scheme were left largely intact, with the only major changes affecting the color palette, branding, and site content.

While much of the website's product-oriented content remained relevant and viable, company-specific content such as management biographies, corproate news, and market positioning was no longer appropriate. As such, the site's architecture and navigation were altered to reflect its tighter focus on the division's product offerings.
