Although Signio's corproate website was initially only a few dozen pages, a number of additions and enhancements were planned for the months following its launch.
One such addition to the site was a 'virtual tour' introducing merchants to Signio's various payment processing services and online applications. This ten-page tour appeared in a floating browser window and made extensive use of screen captures, architecture diagrams, and supporting illustrations to drive customer acquisition.
To promote the tour, numerous promotional elements were added to both the home page and relevant content pages of the underlying website.
